Coping With Anger

While no person or no family can be anger-proof there are ways you can help your angry child get a handle on their temper. Start to see anger not as an enemy to be avoided, but a helpful friend to be managed. Another thing that is sure to bring up anger in relationships is avoiding issues. We become angry and exhibit an anger face " (lowered eyebrows, thinned lips, flared nostrils) to warn, or threaten, the unfair party that we're not going to let this pass. Anger that is expressed inappropriately blocks your ability to discipline wisely.

In severe cases, marriages break up because they cannot get past their anger and disagreements.
